This one-of-a-kind conversion necklace is made up of:

• Gold filled Victorian bar pin pendant from the late 1800s with hand engraved details. Pendant measures 2.4" wide. A peacock (or phoenix) is seen standing regally next to some palm plants and other buildings. Bar pins like this were typically souvenirs picked up along a person's travels or while on vacation. Wearing a piece like this showed off one's wealth, as only those of means could afford to travel back in the day.
• New 14k gold filled chain that measures a standard 16”. 

Necklace pictured measures 16”. If desired, an adjustable chain length may be built into the chain to be more versatile, adjustable from 16-17-18 inches or from 18-19-20 inches. Wear this necklace shorter or longer depending on the neckline of what you're wearing.
